Worth 1 or 2 dollars at best, not 10. Another scam by EA games, a cancer of our industry. No online, terrible UI, no depth to game set up, terrible AI, etc etc.Don't buy it.. It works like the real thing, but, it'l never be the real thing.. Great reproduction of the classic board game! Multi-player on local networks and great single play with AI!. The no multiplayer feature sucks. Hasbro did a way better job on the xbox version of this game. If you wanna play risk on pc, there are decent websites that gives you a lot more options, both in maps and multiplayer .. Pros: Fun, fast paced, easy to learn.Cons: No online multiplayer!. I bought both this and Risk Factions. Returned this because Risk Factions is a better game, and i would recommend that one over this.5/10. If you're into strategy games and want the occassional quick-fix, something that has quick loading time that you can jump into and kick around for a bit then jump out, this does okay. The format works well enough, the sound effects are fine, the blitz features helps speed things along. If you're after Risk, here it is. However, if you're after a quick strategy fix I will say that it has thus far struck me as having a limited feel of tactical application. In some ways it feels like Spider Solitare -skill is only half of it, luck determines the rest. On sale for $3 seems a fair price though.. This is a decent game if you need a quick Risk fix. It's good to kill a few minutes ... but why does it need to have a futuristic/post-apocalyptic style?Past PC versions of Risk had the classic imperialist style that comes with the board game, and that era fits. This version just feels depressing.Still a great job, just not my favorite PC version.
